EV CHARGERS
Electric Vehicle Charging (available from the 22nd July 2026)
We're delighted to offer an electric vehicle charging point for guests staying at The Hyde.
The charging point is located in the main car park, directly in front of the main house. It is mounted on the low wall surrounding the parking area and is clearly signposted for guest use.
How to Charge
Park your vehicle beside the charger.
Plug the charging cable into your vehicle.
Lock your car.
Scan the QR code displayed on the charger using your phone's camera.
No app or account is required.
Please use your phone's camera rather than a third-party QR code scanner.
Enter your payment details and follow the on-screen instructions to begin charging.
If you expect to use the charger regularly during your stay, you may prefer to download the VoltShare app, which allows you to save your payment details and monitor your charging session.
When You've Finished
End your charging session using the same method you used to start it.
Unplug the cable from your vehicle.
If using the tethered cable, please coil it neatly and return it to its holder.
If possible, please move your vehicle once charging is complete so other guests can use the charger.
Need Help?
If you're having difficulty starting a charging session:
Check that your vehicle is plugged in securely and locked.
If the charger doesn't respond, unplug the cable, wait 10 seconds, reconnect it and try again.
If your mobile signal is weak, plug your car in first, scan the QR code, then move to an area with a stronger signal to complete the process.
